One of the Paris suicide bombers had a ticket to the France vs Germany
friendly in the Stade De France but was stopped by hero security guards
who stopped and frisked him.
A security officer working on the night, who only wanted to be named as
Zouheir, said the bomber was frisked by one of his team as he tried to
get into the game 15 minutes after kick-off.
He attempted to back away from the security guard frisking him and then
detonated an explosive vest.
Police confirmed the bomber was planning on entering the ground with a
match ticket in a bid to cause maximum carnage inside the 80,000-seater
national stadium.
Three minutes after it unfolded a second bomber blew himself up outside a nearby McDonalds. One civilian died in each attack.
People inside the stadium believed the explosions were firecrackers being set off during the first half of the game.
The French President Francoise Hollande was at the game and left after
the first blast.
Germany manager Joachim Löw said he feared an attack, saying, “Of course
we thought of it. It was very loud. You could imagine what had
happened.”

At the time he awoke from the coma, Lamar reportedly said 'hey baby' to ex-wife Khloe, recognising her instantly, and also squeezed sister-in-law Kim Kardashian's hand as sources claimed he was It making 'slow progress.'
Building up a better picture of his recovery, Khloe revealed the full extent of Lamar's long journey this week.
She said the basketball player does not yet know why he is hospitalized
because she feels it would 'set him back' in his recovery process.
Speaking on Ellen, on an episode which will air on Monday, Khloe
revealed he is having to learn to feed himself again, and speak, as well
as put sentences together.
'He is off all the machines that help his organs but he has such a long way to go,' Khloe revealed. 'He's learning how to walk again and feed himself again and put sentences together.
'Cognitively there is a lot...it's along long road ahead. He couldn't put a words together today. But he understands.'
Khloe also revealed they haven't yet explained to Lamar how he ended up in hospital.
Khloe said: 'I can't tell him. We tell him he had a brain injury, I
can't tell him how that brain injury was caused. It will set him back.'
She added Lamar has never asked why he is in the hospital, and they are just taking each day as it comes.
'He's really confused a lot we have to remind him. Every day is different.
'Sometimes he knows who the president is, and his birthday, and other
times he thinks he's 26, and I say: "I bet you wish you were 26, so do
I."'
'I’m there helping him and I love him and I’ve always loved him. And
that will never change and I just feel like it’s a really insensitive
thing to fast forward a divorce.'
She went on to clarify: 'I love him and I always will and he’s a
fantastic person who deserves support and love and for someone to be by
his side, and for me, I’m that to him.

Fuel scarcity may continue in December- Marketers
The current petrol scarcity facing the nation due to delay in subsidy
claim payment and Petroleum products, marketers said the fuel scarcity
could continue up until December.
They said with the approval of the N413bn subsidy arrears by the Federal
Government still awaiting clearance at the National Assembly, there
were other issues that involves some paper work and getting the forex
equivalent of the N413bn payment.
The process, they said, could take a number of weeks to complete.
A marketer from Apapa, Lagos said:
“For the fact we have (marketers) stopped importation of product for some time now, there is obviously a huge gap in the supply. This gap must be closed for us to have normalcy in the supply chain. Truly, I don’t see this normalcy returning by December given the current happenings,” the marketer said.
The Chairman, Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, Lagos
Zone, Alhaji Tokunbo Korodo, said the supply situation was unlikely to
see much improvement as marketers’ confidence in the government had
seriously eroded.
According to him:
“Although approval had been made, the actual payment of the subsidy arrears is a different ball game. With the way things are at the moment, it will take between three and four weeks for us to have a normalised market.
“As we speak, some marketers are still cautious when it comes to importing product under the subsidy scheme. Government needs to build the confidence of marketers so that they can fully go back into the business. Otherwise, the scarcity situation might soon become unbearable.”
One of the marketers, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said:
“In recent times, we have been having issues with getting enough forex for our deals. Nothing has changed in the regard. Now, we have a huge sum of N413bn entering the system. Loans will be paid in forex as well as payments for products from international suppliers.
“The Central Bank of Nigeria is not giving us a clear directive in this regard. We will need forex, but we do not know where to get it in this quantum. Right now, the truth is that marketers don’t know how to source forex with the recent CBN provision.”
